From Mr. Yash Pal Jain’s first workspace to today’s in-house manufacturing operation in Jalandhar, Sungrace is a story of family, skill and the responsibility of making for others.

Our story began in 1974, when Mr. Yash Pal Jain started a garment business in one small room. It was a modest beginning for what would become a shared vocation across three generations of the Jain family.
Mr. Yash Pal Jain remained active in the business until 2013. Though he is no longer with us, the foundation he laid continues to support everything we build today. His family carries that legacy forward with gratitude and a sense of responsibility.
His sons, Mr. Rakesh Jain and Mr. Sanjeev Jain, helped turn that beginning into a growing manufacturing operation. The first 500 sq ft factory expanded to 2,500 sq ft, creating space for more work, more skills and the next chapter of the business.
The third generation brought a wider outlook. Mr. Zaheen Jain developed export sales, while Mr. Shreysht Jain strengthened marketing and organisation. Today, Sungrace Uniforms—the uniform brand of RK Apparels—brings those responsibilities together in Jalandhar, Punjab.
A school uniform, a staff shirt or a garment made for another brand carries someone else’s identity. We approach that work with a simple understanding: the details we make become part of someone’s everyday life.

First generation - 1991
500 sq ft Our first factory.
Mr. Rakesh Jain joins his father. The business opens its first factory with 500 sq ft of working space, beginning a new chapter in production.
- 1993
2,500 sq ft Room to grow.
Mr. Sanjeev Jain joins the business as the factory grows to 2,500 sq ft. The brothers bring their complementary strengths to manufacturing and finance.
- 2008
Third generation · export sales A wider horizon.
Mr. Zaheen Jain, son of Mr. Rakesh Jain, joins the factory and drives export sales, connecting the family’s manufacturing experience with international buyers.

Digital reach & organisation The next stage of marketing.
Mr. Shreysht Jain, son of Mr. Sanjeev Jain, joins the business, strengthening its marketing, digital presence and organisational structure.

The founder’s lasting contribution A foundation carried forward.
Mr. Yash Pal Jain works in the business until 2013. The foundation he built from 1974 continues through his sons, grandsons and the people who make Sungrace today.

The continuity of our factory lives in its people, too.
Some colleagues began working with us at 18. Years later, they continue on our production floor, with adult members of the next generation of their families now involved in the same stitching trade.
That continuity keeps practical knowledge close to the work: how a fabric handles, how a seam should sit and how to recognise a detail that needs attention. Experienced hands help newer team members learn the craft.
We place emphasis on women’s participation, training and opportunity. Our workplace commitments include no child labour, wages above applicable minimums and attention to labour-law and POSH responsibilities.
